TOMORROW BEGINS THE MAIN EVENT ABOUT 5G IN SPAIN

The main meeting to analyze the implementation and future of 5G in Spainbegins tomorrow, Wednesday April 24 at the Digital Content Hub in Malaga, with the participation of the most important agents, companies and multinationals involved in its development in the Iberian Peninsula.

During two days, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April, and with 30 selected keynotes, national and international experts from 20 countries of 4 continents will share their knowledge, experiences and projects in the event dedicated to the most important 5G to be held in southern Europe.

The 5GForum, which celebrates its second edition and has become the reference event in Spain on 5G technology, will analyze the technological revolution that will occur in sectors such as mobile telephony, security, medicine, mobility, entertainment, television and the Internet of everything, among others.

Multinationals such as Samsung (Korea), Orange (France), Cisco (USA), Huawei (China), Rohde & Schwarz (Germany), Intracom Telecom (Greece), Nokia (Finland), Dekra (Germany) and Keysight Technologies (USA) support as sponsors the 5GForum in Malaga.

Other large Spanish technology companies, which are committed to the development of 5G technology, such as Lyntia, Reintel, Cellnex, Axión, Hispasat,…have also met in Malaga to show their role in the implementation of this new technology.

In addition, other multinationals such as Telefónica (Spain), Vodafone (United Kingdom), MásMóvil (United Kingdom), Ericsson (Sweden), SEAT(Spain),…will also explain their advances on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April at the Digital Content Hub in Malaga.

The development of 5G, which Korea and the United States are world leaders, according to experts, is also being supported by research from universities on five continents.

The world’s leading pilot projects will take advantage of the opportunity offered by the 5GForum in Malaga to highlight their progress.

Thus, for example, the 5Genesis project, which integrates the efforts of 29 institutions from 12 European countries, will present its progress at the 5GForum.

Other universities such as the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), the Universidad de Málaga (UMA), the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC), will also present their projects at the 5GForum in Málaga.
