MULTINATIONALS FROM CHINA, TAIWAN, JAPAN, TURKEY AND INDIA JOIN THE 5G FORUM 2022 IN SPAIN

Huawei, ZTE, Advantech, Toshiba, JVC, Vestel and OnMobile will be present at the main specific event on 5G in Spain The fifth edition of the 5G Forum will feature large Asian multinationals interested in implementing 5G in Spain, one of the most advanced European countries in the development of this technology, which is holding its main annual event in Seville next week.

Of the five days of the event, the face-to-face inauguration will be held on May 9 at the Seville Conference and Exhibition Center (FIBES). The following four days, from May 10 to 13, in virtual format, including presentations, panels, one-on-one meetings, question and answer sessions, and webinars in which more than 60 speakers will participate.

Two months after the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, ​​the large Asian multinationals join others from Europe and the United States, in addition to the Spanish, to share their progress, demos and success stories in relation to the 5G world.

Huawei and the world in 2030

China’s Huawei has almost 200,000 employees worldwide. José Capote, Marketing and Network Strategy Director at Huawei Spain, will present Huawei’s vision of what the intelligent world will look like in 2030, both from the perspective of the digital transformation of economic sectors and the creation of business models and ecosystems in the industry plan.

It will call attention to how data and computing power play a fundamental role in the recovery and growth of the digital economy. And it is that, according to Huawei, in 2030, the common thread will be the connectivity of people, objects and companies to the cloud. All this through 5G and fiber networks. The new applications will gradually reach all spaces (home, work, car) and will also be more energy efficient.

ZTE and carbon footprint

The Chinese multinational telecom company ZTE (with 80,000 employees in 160 countries), a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, will also be present at the 5G Forum 2022.

Víctor Pascual, CTO in Spain and Portugal and of this great technology company, will share his presentation “Private networks and improvement of the carbon footprint in 5G” with those attending the 5G Forum.

In this ZTE session, two fundamental issues will be addressed. On the one hand, private networks and the easiest and simplest ZTE solution for the industry. And on the other hand, about the consumption of 5G equipment and how it affects decarbonization in the industry. The Chinese company ZTE will explain why it leads the solutions with lower consumption and lower carbon footprint.

Advantech and the Internet of Things

The Taiwanese company Advantech (with annual turnover of more than 2,000 million dollars in 27 countries) will participate in the opening day, on May 9, and will show multiple technologies for monitoring and control of buildings in the demonstration area of ​​the 5G Forum 2022 , such as water leaks, access, temperatures, etc. His EIOT Country Manager Iberia, David Ramos, will also talk about Artificial Intelligence.

The Japanese Toshiba and JVC, and the Turkish VESTEL

For their part, JVC, a Japanese multinational electronics company, and Toshiba, a company dedicated to the manufacture of electrical and electronic devices and which ranks seventh on the list of large global companies in its field, will also be present at the 5G Forum 2022 hand in hand with the Turkish VESTEL and UHD Spain, a Spanish non-profit association on Ultra High Definition, offering impressive and exclusive 4K images that the attending public can enjoy.

India OnMobile and video games

The Indian OnMobile Global (world leader in mobile entertainment and with an addressable base of more than 1,680 million users) will offer an exclusive report on video games on the opening day of the 5G Forum. Juan Olivares, director of Business Development for Europe at OnMobile, will explain how 5G is going to change video games and social electronic sports, based on the experience that the Indian multinational has in products such as videos, ringtones, games and contests.

The face-to-face meeting will be on May 9 in Seville, at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions, FIBES. Previously registered visitors will be able to have free access to all the demonstrations of large companies related to 5G technology.
