Malaga becomes the national capital of 5G technology


The final agenda of the 5GForum was presented at a press conference yesterday, Friday 20 April, at Malaga City Hall by the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, the Councillor for Innovation and New Technologies, Mario Cortés, and the CEO of Medina Media, Ricardo Medina.
The 5GForum has managed to bring together for the first time the country’s leading experts in 5G technology for this great annual multidisciplinary meeting.

Samsung will participate in the 5GForum in Malaga as a pioneer in the development of the new generation of connectivity


Samsung, main sponsor of the 5GForum event to be held at the Digital Content Hub of Malaga on 25th and 26th April, will be one of the entities present at this meeting, which will discuss the Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Cities, connected cars or Artificial Intelligence (AI), among others.

The public administrations, attentive to the 5G


Public administrations will play a key role in the deployment of 5G. For those who tell us, we will have their maximum representatives at the 5GForum, who will tell us about the plans to implement the 5G in Spain and the Digital Transformation that is already here.

All the possibilities opened up by the 5G for the automotive industry and connected mobility will be examined in the 5GForum. We will have first level participants such as Anna Martinez, responsible for connectivity and online services of SEAT, Aitor Fernandez, President of the Spanish Association of Autonomous Vehicles or the Automotive Technology Center of Galicia (CTAG).

The first edition of the 5GForum has already managed to close the participation of presidents, directors, politicians, technicians, professors and experts of the first level, who will turn the appointment of the Digital Content Hub of Malaga into a key meeting to evaluate the 5G in Spain.
