{"id":2930,"date":"2020-04-23T07:05:23","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T06:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/?p=2930"},"modified":"2020-04-23T07:41:11","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T06:41:11","slug":"the-new-models-of-linear-diffusion-of-contents-in-the-virtual-5g-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/en\/the-new-models-of-linear-diffusion-of-contents-in-the-virtual-5g-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"THE NEW MODELS OF LINEAR DIFFUSION OF CONTENTS, IN THE VIRTUAL 5G FORUM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the third consecutive year, RTVE will present its latest 5G projects at the 5G Forum, which will be held completely virtually on\u00a0<strong>6th and 7th May and will bring together experts, companies, multinationals and public institutions specialising in 5G from Europe, America and Asia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Deputy Director of Management of Impulsa Visi\u00f3n RTVE&#8217;s Innovation Centre, Esteban Mayoral, and the Director of Broadcasting and Networks of RTVE, Adolfo Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>, will present the University of Malaga&#8217;s 5G project, winner of the &#8220;II Call for Proposals for Impulsa Visi\u00f3n&#8217;s Research Grants for TFM on the linear dissemination of content through 5G networks&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"5GF20 IMPULSA VISI\u00d3N RTVE\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/410721753?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This Final Master&#8217;s Work (TFM) was carried out by David Jim\u00e9nez, a student at the University of M\u00e1laga (UMA) under the tutorship of Professor Mar\u00eda del Carmen Aguayo.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;This is a project in which it has been proposed to support and complement the\u00a0<strong>new models of linear dissemination of audiovisual content based on 5G networks from the existing telecommunications infrastructure<\/strong>. On the one hand, with the mobile data network improving the user experience and, on the other hand, making use of the satellite broadcasting system, providing service in unpopulated regions where bandwidth may be limited&#8221;<\/em>, advances Jim\u00e9nez.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2924 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/panel-rtve.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"613\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/panel-rtve.png 613w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/panel-rtve-300x165.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 613px) 100vw, 613px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand,\u00a0<strong>Pere Vila, Director of Technological Strategy and Digital Innovation of RTVE<\/strong>, will once again participate in the 5G Forum to present the different projects and activities that RTVE has carried out over the last year in relation to 5G.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"5GF20 RTVE Y EL 5G\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/410716656?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We have continued the completion of the 5G Media project, we have been in contact with EBU to be in the 5G MAG (Media Action Group) consortium as founding members, we have done the first live shows using 5G in Valencia and Madrid and the first TV productions in the cloud and on the edge using 5G.
