De la Torre<\/strong>\u00a0visited during the inauguration the\u00a0Demo Area of the 5GForum<\/strong>, where companies such as\u00a0Nokia, Cellnex, Hispasat, Huawei, Orange, Cisco and the pan-European project 5Genesis<\/strong>\u00a0have shown the 5G projects in which they are currently working.<\/p>\n During the\u00a0inauguration of the 5GForum at the Auditorium<\/strong>, Francisco de la Torre stressed that\u00a0“The world is advancing in the line of 5G and Malaga takes a further step in the consolidation as an innovative city”.<\/p>\n Jes\u00fas Mart\u00edn, Head of Technology and Platforms of Samsung Spain<\/strong>, was in charge of opening the first block of keynotes, explaining the\u00a0evolution of 5G and how this technology will influence sectors\u00a0<\/strong>such as health, nanotechnology, immersive experiences, hyper connectivity, mobility, etc.<\/p>\n For his part,\u00a0Federico Ruiz, director of the National 5G Observatory<\/strong>, explained in his speech the impact of 5G in the different industrial sectors in Spain.<\/p>\n Darko Ratkaj, Senior Project Manager of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU)<\/strong>, then explained the\u00a0opportunities generated by 5G for the production and dissemination of content<\/strong>\u00a0in the European public media sector.<\/p>\n After the presentation by\u00a0Darko Ratkaj<\/strong>, promoted by\u00a0Extenda<\/strong>,\u00a0Pere Vila<\/strong>,\u00a0RTVE’s Director of Technology, Innovation and Systems<\/strong>, explained to the audience how RTVE is going to work on different 5G and 4K projects.<\/p>\n \u00c1lvaro Villegas, director of Nokia Bell Labs Spain<\/strong>, has been in charge of exposing\u00a0the innovations that the company is carrying out in 5G technology<\/strong>, after a moment of networking where attendees have been able to have a first contact.<\/p>\n Nokia<\/strong>\u00a0presents during the 5GForum\u00a06 demos based on the 5G applied to different cases of uses<\/strong>, among which is a\u00a0demo of health emergencies<\/strong>\u00a0that have taken place in the courtyard of the Digital Content Hub of M\u00e1laga.<\/p>\n Nokia wants to prove\u00a0how emergency management services can benefit from these new technologies<\/strong>\u00a0by creating a rapid assistance and intervention plan,\u00a0which improves response times and\u00a0coordinates the different emergency services<\/strong>\u00a0in an efficient and simple way.<\/p>\n The first morning continued with the intervention of\u00a0Virginia Teixeira, main Systems Engineer Service Providers Networks EMEAR of Cisco<\/strong>. Under the title\u00a0“5G, building the foundation for the future”<\/strong>, Virginia explained that\u00a0“we have to build a network capable of adapting to the demands of the moment.
