The influence that\u00a05G will have on televisions<\/strong>\u00a0will be one of the main thematic focuses of the\u00a05GForum in Malaga<\/strong>, the most relevant event in Spain specifically on this new technology.<\/p>\n

The 5GForum will be held on\u00a0April 24 and 25 in the Digital Content Hub\u00a0<\/strong>of the capital of the Costa del Sol, this is its second edition, and the\u00a0main experts, companies, multinationals and pilot projects from more than 20 countries<\/strong>\u00a0will come to share their experiences.<\/p>\n

Multinationals such as China’s\u00a0Huawei\u00a0<\/strong>and Germany’s\u00a0Rohde & Schwarz<\/strong>\u00a0will focus their keynotes at the 5GForum on their\u00a0advances in 5G for televisions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

David C\u00e1ceres<\/strong>, head of Cloud Solutions for Western Europe in Huawei, will present the\u00a0new working formulas\u00a0<\/strong>that will be created for companies in the media sector\u00a0with the development of 5G technologies<\/strong>, and will explain the proposals that the multinational has already tested “from beginning to end”.<\/p>\n

China<\/strong>, in the opinion of experts,\u00a0is the most advanced country in the new 5G technology<\/strong>, followed by the United States. Europe is behind them, although Germany is the most advanced European country.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The engineer\u00a0Mohamed Aziz Taga, main expert of the 5G for the Broadcast of the German multinational Rohde & Schwarz<\/strong>, will come to the 5GForum from Germany.<\/p>\n

Taga<\/strong>, of Tunisian origin, will explain his\u00a0proposal for the live broadcast of multimedia content by deploying an HPHT (High Power Hight Tower) topology\u00a0<\/strong>as an overlay. In this way, the distribution of multimedia and entertainment content, in Taga’s opinion, will be more efficient and profitable.<\/p>\n

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) conference<\/strong>\u00a0will also address opportunities for broadcasters. Croatian engineer\u00a0Darko Ratkaj, EBU Senior Project Manager<\/strong>, will be responsible for explaining what major European public broadcasters are doing to take advantage of the extraordinary possibilities offered by 5G.<\/p>\n

The EBU currently has 71 members (including radio and television stations) from 56 countries.<\/p>\n

On the part of\u00a0Radio Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola, Pere Vila, Director of Technology, Innovation and Systems<\/strong>, will share the advances being made by Spanish public television in relation to\u00a05G and 4K<\/strong>, the possibilities of editing in the cloud and transmitting content, with significant savings in time and money.<\/p>\n

In addition, the\u00a0Ministry of Economy and Business<\/strong>, through\u00a0Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez-Paniagua<\/strong>, will explain the measures foreseen in the\u00a0National Plan of the 5G<\/strong>, which will force to change frequencies to all television channels, public and private, national, regional and local.<\/p>\n

Fernandez-Paniagua<\/strong>\u00a0will participate in the 5GForum just the\u00a0day after an important meeting on the 5G convened by the European Commission in Brussels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this way,\u00a0the role that the 5G will play on televisions<\/strong>\u00a0worldwide will be one of the topics that the\u00a0250 exclusive attendees of the 5GForum in Malaga<\/strong>\u00a0will be able to get to know first hand.<\/p>\n
