{"id":1390,"date":"2018-04-24T14:43:50","date_gmt":"2018-04-24T13:43:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/?p=1390"},"modified":"2018-12-24T14:52:40","modified_gmt":"2018-12-24T13:52:40","slug":"tomorrow-the-5gforum-starts-with-a-first-level-agenda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/en\/tomorrow-the-5gforum-starts-with-a-first-level-agenda\/","title":{"rendered":"Tomorrow the 5GForum starts with a first level agenda"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"null\">Tomorrow, Wednesday 25th April, starts the 5GForum in Malaga, the first multidisciplinary meeting on the Fifth Generation of Telecommunications (5G) to be held in Spain.<\/h2>\n<p>For two days, the <strong>Digital Content Hub of Malaga<\/strong> will be the scene of an event that will bring together the <strong>leading national experts on 5G technology<\/strong>, which is already beginning to be implemented throughout America and by 2020 will be a reality in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-754 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1724\" height=\"830\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_1.png 1724w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_1-300x144.png 300w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_1-768x370.png 768w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_1-1024x493.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1724px) 100vw, 1724px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The three main signal transport companies in Spain <strong>(Cellnex, Axi\u00f3n and Hispasat)<\/strong> are outstanding <strong>sponsors of the 5GForum<\/strong>, which is called to be an annual appointment for experts to share the advances of this new technology year after year.<\/p>\n<p>Multinationals such as <strong>Samsung, Nokia and Ericsson<\/strong> endorse this meeting which brought together the three main operators in Spain:<strong> Telef\u00f3nica, Vodafone and Orange.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The<strong> public administrations<\/strong>, which are going to play a basic role in the development and deployment of the 5G, have also joined the event at all levels: state (with <strong>Red.es<\/strong> and the <strong>Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda<\/strong>), autonomous (<strong>Andalusian Government<\/strong>), provincial (<strong>Diputaci\u00f3n of Malaga<\/strong>) and municipal (<strong>Malaga and Marbella City Councils<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>applications of 5G to Tourism<\/strong> will be one of the main themes of the <strong>5GForum<\/strong>. The Swiss institution <strong>Les Roches sponsors this block of keynotes and round tables<\/strong> in which entities such as the State Society for Tourism and Innovation (<strong>SEGITTUR<\/strong>), <strong>Costa del Sol Tourism<\/strong> and the <strong>Seville City Council<\/strong> will take part, with their recent experiences of <strong>Big Data at Easter<\/strong> and at the <strong>Feria de Abril<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-755 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1984\" height=\"611\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_2.png 1984w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_2-300x92.png 300w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_2-768x237.png 768w, https:\/\/www.5gforum.es\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/sponsors_2-1024x315.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1984px) 100vw, 1984px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The automobile industry will also play an important role in this first edition of the 5GForum, with the relevant presence of<strong> SEAT<\/strong>, a connected vehicle brought by the Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico del Autom\u00f3vil de Galicia (<strong>CTAG<\/strong>) and the testimony of the president of the Spanish Association of Connected Autonomous Vehicles (<strong>AEVAC<\/strong>), who is blind.<\/p>\n<p>The world of universities will also be present with different research projects on the 5G. Professors from the <strong>Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the University of Malaga<\/strong> will present their best 5G projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Radio Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola (RTVE)<\/strong> will come to the 5GForum to present their work on applications to the world of audiovisual content, especially in the field of news. And its start up accelerator, <strong>Impulsa Visi\u00f3n<\/strong>, will explain its collaborative model for technological development in the audiovisual sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Health, Telemedicine and Emergency Services<\/strong> will also be addressed in the 5GForum.
